Application and Admission Procedures

You may submit your application beginning December 1^st, 2007. Applications must be postmarked by February 29^th, 2008. Applications postmarked after February 29, 2008, will not be accepted. PARENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THE END OF MARCH. The lottery will be conducted by the accounting firm of Plante Moran, LLP. Upon enrollment, students will be required to show proof of Wayne County residency.

Siblings of students who will be enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year must complete an application for automatic enrollment.

Henry Ford Academy, in accordance with state law, does not consider academic ability as a factor in admission. If student demand exceeds available space, admission selections are determined by random lottery, with residence in Wayne County and eligibility to enter the 9th grade as the only determining factors.
