As a point of clarification, we give preference to candidates holding current Michigan teacher certification in secondary education for grades 9-12. Openings in administrative and support positions will be posted as they occur. We request that you send a resume only when your qualifications are commensurate with the job posting. Openings

Henry Ford Academy, a public charter high school located in Dearborn, MI is seeking candidates for teaching positions for the 2008-2009 school year. Project-based learning and performance assessments are at the heart of the teaching experiences here. Our innovative curriculum is based on state standards and nationally researched best-practices. We are seeking candidates who are certified to teach Math, World History/Global Issues, Spanish and English at the secondary level. Experience in block teaching, integrating technology and working with diverse student populations preferred. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
